As many clarinetist agree, the Eb Clarinet tends to fit some and not others. While traveling in Europe in late 2023, I met the sensational Spanish Clarinetist, Javier Llopis (pronounced “Yo-Peace”) at his Clarinet Festival on the island of Tenerife, Spain. The ease and beauty that he brings to the Eb Clarinet inspired me to work on one of my bucket list projects: a Signature Mouthpiece that evens-out the instrument in such a way that the altissimo and articulation could be easy, mimicking that of the soprano Bb and A clarinets. Like Javier, this Eb mouthpiece is universally suited to orchestral, chamber, wind ensemble and solo Eb playing.

• Open tip at 1.20mm with an Open/Long facing paired with the A-Frame Bore and crafted from Spanish marble hard-rod rubber
• A=440-442 with a standard-length Eb Barrel
