The lovely pastel pink drop is pink uranium glass - a color you truly don't find often in this material! Above the glass drop rests a faceted black onyx; flanking it are two swirling silver accents. The backside of the uranium glass drop is stamped with tiny hearts but also holds a surprise: an anatomical human heart! The backside of the black onyx is stamped with my maker's mark (BLJ). The chain is black onyx wrapped by hand in bright sterling silver. The raised points have been polished to shine, while the low points retain the oxidized color to show off the depth and details. Each ring in this necklace is soldered shut for a safe, secure hold. All metal used in this piece is sterling silver.

The wearable length range of this necklace is 18", excluding the pendant portion drop length of 2". If you would like an extender chain added to lengthen it a bit more, please let me know in the notes at checkout!

Like fine silver, sterling silver does tarnish over time. Exposure to chemicals can affect the appearance on silver (like hand sanitizer, pool chlorine, some soaps, etc.). It is not recommended to wear sterling silver jewelry while bathing or swimming for this reason. If it tarnishes, sterling silver jewelry can be cleaned with cleaning cloths or solutions that are labeled as being safe for silver. If your jewelry has stones in it, please only use with a cleaner that is labeled as safe for stones as any other cleaner could potentially damage them.
